Select several files at once · up to 50 files, 200 MB in total
How to merge PDF files
- Click "Choose PDF file" and select two or more PDFs (or drag them in).
- Use the ↑ ↓ buttons to put them in order; remove any with ✕.
- Click "Merge" and then "Download merged PDF".
Why a no-upload PDF tool is safer
Most online PDF sites upload your file to their servers, process it there and send it back. This tool runs open-source PDF libraries (pdf-lib and PDF.js) directly in your browser, so your documents never leave your device.
Because the work happens on your device, very large files are faster on a computer than on a phone.
Good to know
- Up to 50 files and 200 MB in total; 100 MB per file.
- Pages are copied as-is, so text stays sharp and searchable.
- Bookmarks (outlines) are not kept, and digital signatures will no longer validate after merging.
- Pages of different sizes are kept at their original sizes.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Files are opened and processed inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, stored or shared, so it is safe for contracts, IDs and bank statements.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
Up to 50 files, 200 MB in total, with 100 MB per file. Merge in batches if you need more.
How do I change the order of the files?
Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons next to each file. Files start in the order you selected them.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied without re-rendering, so text and images keep their original quality and text stays searchable.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Remove the password in the original app and save the file again first.
Can I merge JPG images with PDFs?
Convert the images with the JPG to PDF tool first, then merge the resulting PDF here.
