Daylight saving time
The US and Canada switch to daylight saving time on the second Sunday of March and back on the first Sunday of November. The UK and EU switch on the last Sunday of March and the last Sunday of October. For a few weeks each year the gap between New York and London is 4 hours instead of 5.
Australia and New Zealand switch in the opposite season, and many countries (Japan, China, India, Singapore, most of Southeast Asia) do not use daylight saving time at all. The converter uses the IANA time zone database built into your browser.
